Arbor Day 2005: JSTAC
chair Mary Ann Kroehn-Buenzow addressed a gathering of Janesville
residents, City Council members, and JSTAC volunteers to celebrate
Janesville's designation as a Tree City USA, a status conferred by the
National Arbor Day Foundation in recognition of work done to promote
the welfare of Janesville's urban forest and to provide educational
opportunities for Janesville's citizens. She outlined the
effort that had gone into qualifying for the award, and JSTAC's future
plans to continue its work. Center:
