Photographers
are free to use any type camera and choose any subject they wish - as
long as it includes trees. Shoot
your favorite tree, a tree filled with birds, a dead tree that a
woodpecker has chosen as a place to find food, a tree where an owl has
a nest, or a squirrel has a home. Shoot young trees, old trees,
trees damaged by wind or weather, trees in groups, trees on golf courses, in parks, on your street, in
your yard. Shoot a tree you or your family has planted, one in
your school yard, at your office, at your church - a tree you notice as
you go by it on your way to work every day.
Photos will be displayed during GardenFest, Sept. 6 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Rotary Botanical Gardens.
Prizes will be awarded that afternoon.
