Goodbye,
dear friend
Cathy Kensmore
became a member of JSTAC in 2000. She soon offered
her services as official grant writer, and became a tireless volunteer
during work days and events, even well into her fight with the cancer
that eventually took her life on Jan. 26, 2007. No matter the
occasion or circumstance, Cathy twinkled. Her
irrepressible and irreverent sense of humor and sensitivity to the
thoughts and feeling of others made her a pleasure to be around. She
could always find something to laugh about, and brought immeasurable
joy
to all of us. Although in the final days of her illness we saw
less
and less of her, Cathy kept us in her thoughts as she was present in
ours. JSTAC will
remember Cathy with a memorial tree.
